About OK Strong

OK Strong is the personal strongman training vlog of Nathan Lane Helms, based in Oklahoma. The tagline says it plain: “Strength — it is just a way of life.”

What this site is

Strong documents real training sessions — atlas stones, yoke carry, log press, farmers walk, tire flips, sled pulls, and garage gym work. The archives go back to 2011, with workout videos and training logs running through 2020. After a couple of years off, training restarted in fall 2026 with a three-day-a-week strength program out of a home garage gym in the Tulsa area.

This is not a coaching business and not a content farm. It is a training log made public — the lifts, the weights, the bad days, and the progress.

Who is behind it

Nathan Lane Helms trains in Oklahoma and has been around strength sports for years, including strongman event work and BMX racing. Strong is his way of keeping an honest record of the work.
